NEW SOCIAL MEDIA, & BLOG COMING SOON

Regular visitors will have noticed a decrease in posts to the HEMEL NATURE

& about with nature in Hemel is limited. I am working on a new blog to come soon & hope that the work that has gone into HEMEL NATURE will prove useful & interesting to those still visiting it.

In the mean time you can follow me at my new accounts on the following social media platforms...

WILLOW WARBLER
GARDEN WARBLER near the stile which Sang briefly - my First of the year though found by Jim Middleton last weekend

Possible Female PIED FLYCATCHER
only seen briefly & could not re-find - saw a small bird from distance apparently fly-catch from hedge next to stile leading to green at NW edge of pools, once nearer I saw the same bird fly-catch off of leaves across from it's perch under overhanging branches, when seen still for a moment (mostly obscured) through a gap in the leaves it just appeared brown above, light below & wings patterned blackish with white wing bars. Unfortunately view not good enough to rule out... just a fly-catching Female Chaffinch!
